Elijah Almanza joined Timberline Lacrosse as Head Coach and has been a driving force behind the program’s sustained success, including a recent 2025 State Championship. A Boise, Idaho native, Almanza has coached extensively throughout the Treasure Valley, serving as Defensive Coordinator at both Bishop Kelly High School and Rocky Mountain
Elijah Almanza joined Timberline Lacrosse as Head Coach and has been a driving force behind the program’s sustained success, including a recent 2025 State Championship. A Boise, Idaho native, Almanza has coached extensively throughout the Treasure Valley, serving as Defensive Coordinator at both Bishop Kelly High School and Rocky Mountain High School, where he helped develop competitive, disciplined defensive units at the varsity level. He has also coached across multiple age groups with True Idaho Lacrosse, where he currently serves as Assistant Director, contributing to player development systems and long-term program growth. Almanza helped lead Timberline’s 2025 State Championship team and enters the 2026 season continuing to guide the Wolves’ competitive standards and culture. In addition to his role at Timberline, he begins his first year as an Assistant Coach with the Boise State Men’s Lacrosse program.

Erik Anderson joined Timberline Lacrosse in 2024 and has quickly become a key piece of the program’s championship staff. A Meridian, Idaho native, he played at Rocky Mountain High School before continuing his career at Onondaga Community College, where he was a member of the 2018 NJCAA National Championship team. Erik Anderson joined Timberline Lacrosse in 2024 and has quickly become a key piece of the program’s championship staff. A Meridian, Idaho native, he played at Rocky Mountain High School before continuing his career at Onondaga Community College, where he was a member of the 2018 NJCAA National Championship team. Erik previously coached with True Idaho Lacrosse from 2017–2025, serving as Assistant Director, and was Defensive Coordinator at Rocky Mountain HS (2020–22), helping win the 2021 state title, as well as Defensive Coordinator at the College of Idaho in 2024. He helped lead Timberline’s 2025 State Championship team as Co-Offensive Coordinator and returns in that role for the 2026 season.

Nick was a standout at Rocky Mountain High School where he earned 1st Team All-State Attackman, was named a USA Lacrosse Academic All-American, and helped lead the Grizzlies secure the 2021 State Championship.
He brings a championship mindset and high-level offensive knowledge to our staff. Can’t wait to see the impact he’ll have on the Wolves offense this season!

Luke Farrell joined the Timberline Lacrosse coaching staff in 2024 and enters his second season as the program’s JV Head Coach. A Treasure Valley native, Farrell began playing lacrosse in the 3rd grade and went on to compete at Rocky Mountain High School, graduating in 2019. Luke Farrell joined the Timberline Lacrosse coaching staff in 2024 and enters his second season as the program’s JV Head Coach. A Treasure Valley native, Farrell began playing lacrosse in the 3rd grade and went on to compete at Rocky Mountain High School, graduating in 2019. He began his coaching career with the Rocky Mountain Middle School team during the 2020 season before joining the Rocky Mountain High School staff as JV Head Coach for the 2021 and 2022 seasons. At Timberline, Farrell plays a key role in developing young players, emphasizing fundamentals, accountability, and preparing athletes for the varsity level.

Max Anderson joined the Timberline Lacrosse coaching staff in 2025. Max was a 4-year starter and team captain at Mountain View HS, earning 1st Team All-State honors. He went on to have a standout college career at the College of Idaho as a 3-year starter, 2nd Team All-Conference selection, and MCLA Scholar Athlete.
